Bought a leather suite 3 years ago from the Tillicoultry store. the 2 chairs were rocking and swivel type and after 3 years they were squeaking noisily on the rocking function. Phoned the store to see if they could do anything with them outwith the warranty period, and they arranged to send out a member of staff to see what the problem was . This person said that the chairs would need to go to workshops for a modification to the spring bases and arranged for this to be done. The company uplifted the chairs ,fixed them and returned them at no cost.everything was done very well and on time.This company went over and above their legal obligations to keep a customer happy and thats how I judge them on. Will be definatly buying from them again due to the exceptional service that we have had, unlike my son who bought a 3 piece suite from Harveys who are an absolute nightmare to deal with and had to threaten them with court action to get a refund. People are quick to knock a company but slow to praise, but we got exceptional service and a good product from Sterlings and would recommend them to anyone.
